Changed the background on Kurt. The green was too distracting. I think what I changed it too will match the painting better. It feels more harmonious.

Today's Work Thus Far

Kurt is wrapping up fast. I need to do more work on the shirt, and let the background dry and other colors settle to decide if they are right.

Pixie is finished and varnished.

Tired

Today is Monday. Tired. Lots of work and following up to do.

Friday's Work

Well I decided on a different background for Pixie. It still needs work, but it is coming a long. I believe the top corner needs to loose the blue texture. I also started a Kurt Cobain painting. Tried to re shoot Mr. Marley, so it is less blurry.

Thursday September 25

My external drive died yesterday. It had all my photos on it for the past 10 years. I find this very upsetting. But, I am getting a lot of painting done today, which I have failed to do for the past 2 days.

I am deciding on which background for my Pixie Painting. If anyone is out there; which do you think works better? I need to look at it more, and allow the colors to digest in my mind. The other painting is recently glazed and drying. It is a painting of Bob Marley when he was younger.

The third painting is a 2 weeks ago portrait. it was inspired by the texture Van Gogh used in his portraits.
